Purpose Statement:

Unity in the Community Day is a celebratory reinvention of what was once Roosevelt's Unity in Diversity Day. Our mission at Roosevelt high School is to make Diversity and Inclusion immersive and engaging. For years, at Roosevelt, diversity has been a serious subject, but it is not something to be feared. This year, it is meant to open our perspectives on other identities, experiences, and have an honest reflection of ourselves. Diversity is important and necessary for a fun and collaborative community. We will teach and connect our community on the excellence of differences. Inclusion is fun, and with this purpose, that is why we are having this day.
